Christina Matthews is a former Sailfish who attended PBAU from 2010-2014. She started on the indoor volleyball team all four years where she was an AVCA All-American. After graduating, she went on to play professionally as an indoor and beach volleyball player. She has been the head coach of the beach volleyball program at PBAU for four very successful seasons and received the "Top 30 Under 30" coaches award two years in a row. Matthews still competes at the professional level playing in many open tournaments around the country all while building a successful DII beach volleyball program.
